Makita is continuing our sustainability efforts and support for the environment by responsibly
recycling rechargeable batteries through the call2recycle® program. The program is no-cost, no-
hassle and available at Makita Service Centers. call2recycle® follows the strictest standards in safety
and compliance, including being the first program of its kind to receive Responsible Recycling (R2)
certification and e-Steward recognition from the Basel Action Network (BAN).
